THE WEATHER PATTERN WILL BRING COLD TEMPERATURES TO HAMPTON ROADS FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS... A FAST MOVING ALBERTA CLIPPER SYSTEM SHOULD BRING SOME
Meteoroligical Winter started on December 1st and the weather will feel like winter over the week or so. A chilly air mass moved behind a cold front a few days ago which brought about a half inch of rain to my neighborhood. Colder air will be moving in behind a cliiper system that will bring us a chance of a little light snow Saturday night. Forecasters aren't expecting anything significant here locally, but a dusting to a half inch is possible. Areas to our south and west may get a little more as those areas will be closer to the track of the low pressure area. After this system moves through, dry weather is expected for the next several days. The pattern for the upcoming week looks like it will be a cold and dry one. As low pressure lingers off the New England coast, winds should remain quite brisk early next week adding to the chill. I'll have an update Sunday morning.
