AFTER A CHILLY WEEKEND, TEMPERATURES SHOULD WARM UP BY MID-WEEK AND PRECIPITATION CHANCES WILL GO UP... A COLD FRONT WILL DROP TEMPERATURES AGAIN LATE

High pressure will keep us dry and on the cool side today (Sunday), but a warm-up is on its way. Temperatures by mid-week may reach the 70's! Along with the warmer weather may come a chance of rain, which will be due to increasing moisture out ahead of an approaching cold front and an associated trough. I hope that we see more rain with this next system than we did with the one on Friday. This Wednesday (Dec 1st), it will be four weeks since we've received significant precipitation. And as I said in my Saturday's post, precipitation for the year is running above normal due to the heavy rainfall that we saw last summer. The air mass that will move in behind the cold front will be quite chilly so the week will end on the cool side. Thanks for reading and have a great day.
