THE LAST WEEK OF OCTOBER WILL BE A WARM ONE FOR THE MOST PART... SOME SHOWERS SEEM LIKELY MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY... COOLER WEATHER IS POSSIBLE LATE

High pressure is moving off the Carolina Coast and as it does, a southwesterly flow will bring in milder air into Hampton Roads. Some clouds will appear from time to time on Sunday but overall, it looks like a very nice late October day. With a trough to our west and a high pressure area (or a ridge) off the Southeast Coast early this week, our weather should be warmer than normal and moisture levels will be increasing, especially by Monday evening. Forecasters (and the computer models) aren't predicting a lot of rainfall this upcoming week here in Hampton Roads. At least that is how it looks right now. Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Richard is moving westward and will make lanfall in Central America. It's remnants may emerge in the Gulf of Mexico in a few days. That's it for now. Have a great day.
