JUST WHAT WE NEED, MORE RAIN... LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPING OFF THE COAST BRINGS US A WET AND COOL SUNDAY... RAIN CHANCES WILL SLOWLY DECREASE MONDAY AND

Doesn't it seem that when we don't need the rain here in Hampton Roads, that's when we seem to get it? How many times during extended periods of dry weather you can't buy a drop of rain? After the incredible deluge last week, yes, we are getting more rain. An upper level disturbance moving in from the west is causing a surface low pressure to develop just off the coastal Carolinas. The low will slowly intensify increasing our winds a bit throughout the day and maintaining rain chances into Monday. Due to the northeasterly windflow and cloud cover, temperatures will be held down today. The low will slowly move northeastward but clearing may be slow to occur due to the upper-level disturbance remaining close by. Temperatures this week should be very fall-like.
