The unseasonably cold weather that put us in the deep freeze have eased somewhat, but along with the warm up comes a chance of showers late on Monday. The deep freeze has ended the growing season for most of us here in SE VA. A cold front will be approaching on Monday and some models suggest that we will see a good shot of some rain later in the day and at night. A look at the national radar today (Sunday) doesn't show much precipitation at all anywhere. However, as a frontal system moves east towards our region, it is expected to pick up enough moisture to bring us some shower activity later Monday. The low will be deepening as it heads northeast into New England. This will set up a windy cool regime after the cold frontal passage Monday night. Rain chances will drop on Tuesday and should stay low until Saturday. Thanksgiving Day looks nice and relatively seasonal here in the Southern Mid-Atlantic Region.
