HAMPTON ROADS WILL HAVE A SUNNY AND SEASONABLE WEEKEND... AN UNSETTLED WEATHER PATTERN RETURNS NEXT WEEK

That pesky low pressure system over the Canadian Maritimes is finally going to lose its grip over Hampton Roads. This is what has been causing the chilly and occasionally gusty NW winds this past week. This system has kept it dry giving us an opportunity to dry out a bit. The weekend looks great for February as temperatures should peak around the 50 degree mark on Saturday. Sunday may be a degree or two warmer. No precipitation is likely this weekend here in Hampton Roads. Things change next week as a complex low pressure system approaches. Milder air should move in on Monday but the models differ in solutions for the remainder of the week. Rain seems like a good bet on Monday night, but what happens after that is still questionable. I'll have a full update on Sunday.
