THE WEATHER THIS WEEK SHOULD BE QUITE NICE WITH NO MAJOR HEAT WAVES... RAIN CHANCES REMAIN LOW THROUGH SATURDAY

The weather system that moved through our area late Sunday (7/5) was a huge disappointment for the areas of Hampton Roads that have not seen much rain the past few weeks. I only picked up about a quarter of an inch while areas just to the south picked up several inches of rain. NE NC received the lion's share of the rainfall. It appears that the remainder of this week will be rainfree. Also, no major heat is expected through Saturday. The tropics are quiet for now so I guess this is a time that weather forecasters can relax.
