After a warm and windy Friday, a fast moving potent low pressure system moved through Hampton Roads late Friday night bringing with it some showers. This is the same system that brought all that severe weather to parts of the nation over the last few days. A tornado in TN caused fatalities and massive structural damage. As the low departs on Saturday, brisk northerly winds will prevent temperatures from rising that much. Cooler air will move in on Saturday evening and it will stick around on Sunday, despite ample sunshine. On Monday, forecasters will be watching another low pressure area that should bring more wet weather late Monday night and on Tuesday. The rain Friday night didn't amount to much in my backyard and Hampton Roads did not have any severe weather from this system. I'll have an update on Sunday morning.
