COOLER AIR MOVES INTO HAMPTON ROADS... SUNNY SKIES ARE EXPECTED AT LEAST THROUGH WEDNESDAY... AFTER THAT, THE FORECAST BECOMES A BIT UNCERTAIN

The cold front that moved through Hampton Roads on Saturday has moved well offshore. Sunday will be a nice day and will be slightly cooler. Cooler air will move in for Monday and Tuesday along with sunny skies. There will be some clouds moving through at times. As the high pressure area moves off the coast during mid-week, the forecast becomes a bit iffy as models differ on the set up later in the week. Many questions have to be answered such as how far north will Gulf moisture make it? Will there be any overrunning precipitation here locally, etc, etc. Meanwhile, Paloma has weakened considerably after passing of Eastern Cuba. This once category 4 storm is expected to meander for a few days north of Cuba. This system is not expected to affect the US at all. I'll have an update on Monday.
