A SOUTHERLY FLOW BRINGS WARMTH AND HUMIDITY TO HAMPTON ROADS... NOT MUCH RAIN FELL AND I DON'T THINK WE'RE GOING TO SEE MUCH ON SATURDAY

A southerly flow ahead of an approaching cold front will make Saturday almost feel like a day in late summer. Although our official rain chances are 80% from the NWS, i don't think that we are going to see much today across Hampton Roads. I'm not saying that it will not rain, I just don't think that the coverage will be that extensive. Sunday looks dry for everyone as the front moves offshore. Another cold front will approach early next week bringing what should be the coldest air of the season. A significant dip in the jet stream will allow the cold air to flow into our region. No major precipitation events are expected this upcoming week.
